Minimal techno rarely is as generous as with Worakls: a guitar escaped from a Fado tune, the melancholic echoes of Gabriel Fauré, a folk riff, a percussion motif Steve Reich style… Maybe we should mention that Kevin Rodrigues started studying the piano before learning how to read and spent many years as a pupil of the conservatoire. With his electronic music escapade, he now reaps the benefits of his vast musical background displayed in a lavish production. His many EPs draw out a dazzling map in which the melodies of Mozart and Portishead seem to intertwine.
